Cévennes means to follow the thousand-year-old ways of transhumance. It is to see high maritime pines which were still used yesterday to produce the wood of mines of the coal basin.

Cévennes also refer to the hard labour of farmers who sweated blood to get a plain in altitude.
Cévennes, it is also chestnuts and mulberry trees at silk's time.
Cévennes are Protestants & camisards'native land , and was also a country of refuge for the resistant ones during the Second World War...
